Appointment Request

To Our Patients

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and upon recommendation by the Massachusetts Dental Society, our office will be closed for non-emergency dental care from Tuesday March 17, 2020 until Monday April 6, 2020. We will keep you informed if there are any changes beyond April 6th. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause; however, we must do what is best for the safety of our patients and team members.

Dr. Cusanello will be available for emergency dental care and can be reached by calling the office (781-222-3359) and pressing 1 to be directly connected to his cell phone.

When the office reopens, we will be following the guidelines set forth by the CDC, and as we always have, continue to use Universal Precautions for the welfare of our patients and team. This includes:

  1. Wearing new, disposable non-latex gloves while treating each patient.
  2. Wearing a face mask covering our mouth and nose and protective eyewear while treating each patient.
  3. We wash our hands thoroughly between every patient and have hand sanitizer dispensers available for patients and tram members.
  4. Wiping the treatment chairs, countertops, and cabinets in the room after we treat each patient with the highest-level disinfecting towelettes designed for healthcare settings.
  5. Properly bagging and heat sterilizing all instruments.

In our non-treatment areas, we are diligently wiping our doorknobs, countertops, and reception chairs multiple times a day with disinfecting wipes. We have a hand sanitizer dispenser in the patient lounge for your use.
During this time with the COVID-19 we are asking our patients to please consider the following:

  1. If you have traveled in the last 14 days and are showing signs/symptoms of illness (Fever, Cough, or Shortness of Breath), or have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
  2. Please limit the number of family members coming into the office with the patient to those needed for the appointment.
  3. For the time being, we have asked our team members to refrain fro shaking hands with patients and families.

We will continue to monitor the recommendations of the American Dental Association, the CDC, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. We hope all our patients and families remain healthy, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Sincerely,

David R. Cusanello, D.M.D.
